(Credit - 1) (Elective) (Semester) (Grades: 11-12)

Sociology is a course that attempts to understand why humans behave the way they do. What makes us tick? Why do groups have such strong influence on our behavior? What happens to a person if they do not have their needs met during their early years? Why are certain behaviors considered normal or strange? These are just a few of the questions we will be exploring during the semester. We will research interesting events, hold a trial, visit a prison, and debate various topics as we complete our semester together.
